Parts
Replacement
parts for products that are made by
manufacturers we support are generally
available and in stock. The home decorating
industry has created an amazing variety of
beautiful window coverings, but this has also
created an even more amazing number of unique
and special parts. However, manufacturers will
occasionally modify their product components,
limit distribution, or discontinue a product.
Consequently, some parts may not be available.

2" All Wood Blinds
Venetian blinds needing cleaning, cord
replacement and/or tape replacement can be
reconditioned & rebuilt for a big savings! We can
replace the tapes & cords for much much less than
the cost of replacing all your
blinds. We are your source for finding the
authentic wide tape, old-style mechanisms, cords,
and replacement wooden slats that can be hard to
find! We can also supply the old style of
hardware for the authentic blinds and can often
fabricate slats or the parts required for your
blinds.

If you plan to replace a window treatment with a new
product, we can cut the old treatment to fit another
window of a smaller size!
Pleated and
Cellular Shades
The maximum amount most major brand pleated and
cellular shades can be cut is one-inch, per side,
without affecting alignment of the cord location.
Horizontal Blinds
All two-inch horizontal
blinds (wood or aluminum) can only be cut within
one-inch of the tilter mechanism and cord lock.
Cutting the blind closer will damage the control
mechanism.
Please
be advised that most manufacture warranties are invalid
if the window covering is altered from its original
production specifications (i.e. cut down, shortened,
etc.) by anyone other than the original fabricator.
Repair
Service
Most repair work can be carried out within the next
business day. We provide repair services for all
window covering products made by the major
manufacturers we support. Nearly all of the services
we offer are done in-house at our facility in
Vancouver in order to provide the quickest possible
turn around. However, there are coactions when a
product must be returned to its original fabricator
which can significantly increase the turn around time.

All
blinds are washed by hand
Our
hand-cleaning method is the most thorough,
time-tested, non-damaging way to keep your window
coverings looking their best. We use a custom
combination of detergents and solvents for each type
of window covering, soft, non-abrasive natural and
synthetic brushes, and pure, additive-free rinse
water.
Wood
Blind Cleaning
We clean all wood
blinds by hand. We have two methods of cleaning wood
blinds. The first method is to leave the wood blinds
completely assembled. We clean every slat, top and
bottom, every headrail, and wipe down all cords and
ladders. This is done with a mild solution made just
for cleaning wood. The second method is to completely
dismantle the blind, clean and oil every slat,
thoroughly clean the headrails and cords and put it
all back together again.
